Project Samples

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog! Sorry I've been MIA but sometimes we are hit with a lil "writer's block" and we have to do our best to get back on our feet. So we are now in December, an awesome time of the year and please remember that the most important thing this time is to share our time and love with our family and friends.

With that being said, this time I have to share something kind of new to me. A couple days ago I picked up a box of goodies from e.l.f. and I was really struggling to put my stuff away. It was not much, mainly backups of their HD powder, poreless primer, setting spray, and not too much make-up things. While doing this, I noticed that I have a little drawer full of samples, which eventhough they are not supposed to take a lot of room, as you can see, they are a hot mess and they are taking the much needed space that I was looking for. So, I decided to do something about it.

As some of you might know, there is something around Youtube and the beauty community called "Project 10 Pan" that is basically choosing 10 products from your collection that you either hit pan or are about to hit pan and decide to use it up before using something else.  In my particular case, I decided to use up my samples, so I called it "Project Samples". I have received this whole bunch of samples from my monthly suscription to My Petite Box and also from purchases that I have done from Sephora. Unfortunately, most of the times those little packet samples get lost, tossed around, and them BAM!! A drawer full of small stuff.

I am not saying that "by the end of January 2015 I'll be done with all of my samples" but I will make my best effort to use as much of them as I can. With that being said, I will show you pictures of the samples that I have to use up.

Skincare Samples

Body Products and a 2 make-up items

Haircare

So this is all that I have to use up...wish me luck!

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my blog. See you guys later on my next post!

A Little Fashion Post

So I'm not fashion-y at all. I like what I like and sometimes that does not work/adjust to my body type which is like "hourglass-y but chubby" and I have to look for pieces that not only match or coordinate with one another but also that fit me well and does not make me look like a fool, like a 40 year trying to look half her age.  So, that being said, for a casual Friday, I chose a pair of kind of lose fit jeans from Estampa (got them for $12), an olive green tank top, olive green jacket from Berksha (bought it like 3 years ago) so they "match" and create a military-ish vibe, a regular black belt, and a pair of gold-nude loafers, so comfortable that I just can't put them down. Now some more detail pics so you can take a closer look and enjoy.  See ya next time!

Review: Boscia Skin Care

Review: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation
