Small Elf Haul - March 2015

Hi everyone! An extra post for this week since yesterday I picked up my ELF haul from the Presindent's Day sale. Everything was 40% off site wide but I mostly purchased some backups since I am trying to save for Sephora's Spring sale in early April. Who am I kidding? I most definately purchase something before that!!

Anyways, most of the things that I purchased for myself  were on recommendation from Youtubers/beauty bloggers so I thought "why not".

One of the first things that I picked up were the elf Studio Makeup Remover Cleasing Cloths. Each pack comes with 20 pre-moistened cloths and since Dani, from Coffeebreakwithdani raves about them I decided to try them out. They retail for $3.00 the pack and with the discount I ended up paying $1.80 for each.

Another thing that I decided to try out is the elf Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder (wao! That was a mouthfull!). I have seen several Youtubers talking wonders about this powder and I have seen how beautifully it works and highlights the undereye area. It is a tiny container and comes with a teeny tiny crappy brush that I just threw away.  Once I am done with my current setting powder I will start using it.  Just as an FYI, I have heard that a little goes a very long way.

I chose two lip products: a liquid lipstick from the Essential line in Pink Lemonade (it is the glittery pink one on the right). With liquid lipsticks being so on trend right now, I thought I will try with a cheap one. Loved the color although it is not even close to the so called swatch that I saw online. Heck, it was less than $1.00 so why not.  Also I chose a Moisturizing Lipstick from the Studio line in the color Ravishing Rose, a gorgeous rose color. I love this lipsticks: they are so cheap, comfortable to use, creamy and have a very nice scent.

Finally, and since I love brow products, I picked up this new product. It is an Instant Lift Brow Pencil, a brow pencil with spoolie to fill in the brows and blend the color away. I will try it very soon, so far I liked how the color swatched on my hand.

Well guys, that will be all for now.  I will keep you posted if I try anything soon. Thank you for taking time to visit my blog and I'll see you in my next post!

A Little Fashion Post

So I'm not fashion-y at all. I like what I like and sometimes that does not work/adjust to my body type which is like "hourglass-y but chubby" and I have to look for pieces that not only match or coordinate with one another but also that fit me well and does not make me look like a fool, like a 40 year trying to look half her age.  So, that being said, for a casual Friday, I chose a pair of kind of lose fit jeans from Estampa (got them for $12), an olive green tank top, olive green jacket from Berksha (bought it like 3 years ago) so they "match" and create a military-ish vibe, a regular black belt, and a pair of gold-nude loafers, so comfortable that I just can't put them down. Now some more detail pics so you can take a closer look and enjoy.  See ya next time!

Review: Boscia Skin Care

Review: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation
